Did you really post to the Internet this idea of "work at home = sleeping"? In a world-readable channel, and probably to Twitter, and using a nickname prominently associated with you, and with your face on the post as well?

Is this really the best course of action?

He didn't post "work at home = sleeping"; you did. He posted work at home = "sleeping in a bit," which makes a lot of sense since there is no commute.

B's characterization is more on line with my intent, that not having to be in the office meant I could sleep an hour or so that would normally be spent getting ready for work and commuting. I see your point, though, and will try to make sure the people in the office "see" me working today as much as possible.
