I am sometimes amazed at what we accomplish around here. Work comes in flagged as "ASAP," which is a second priority behind "in-house" for us. (The latter meaning that the client is in our offices waiting for each page to be finished so they can look it over.) One person breaks it up into chunks and the rest of us pounce on it as soon as they're ready. In a matter of minutes, a hundred pages of edits are completed, ready to be proofread then sent to the client.
Then we are left, like storm-tossed flotsam on a beach beneath receding clouds, to wait for the next batch to come by.
