It was particularly quiet on Como Avenue, where I usually catch my bus so I decided to walk a couple of blocks to the nearest bus shelter that had a schedule, just to see how long I'd have to wait. Turns out the first bus runs at about 5:30. Rather than wait around for an hour or head back home, I decided to walk into work. Got to the office at about 5:00. My math reveals that an 8-hour day will get me heading back home about 1:00 p.m. Just in time to feed the dogs their lunch!
So it feels like a short day for me, though I suspect I'll have a nap after I get home.
