Are you asking the right questions?

In my own mind and when I talk to others I often hear questions that seem to beg for negative answers. Questions like "What's wrong with me?" or "Why can't I [do something or other]?"

What brought this issue to mind today was a link from Rob Brezsny's astrology newsletter to a lifehack.org article. The author puts forth the idea that when we ask questions, our mind tends to find answers for them. So by shifting the questions we ask, we should find answers to fit those questions.

Starting today and for as long as I remember, I'm going to start asking questions like these:
  • What is the best thing I can write today?
  • Where will I find joy today?
  • What can I do to increase my prosperity today?
  • Who should I thank today?
What questions are you asking yourself? How might you change those?
