09:49 am - Dragging
I don't get it. I had a lovely dinner out last night. Got home at a reasonable hour. Got to bed at a reasonable hour. Did a little yoga (thanks to a recent Amazon purchase). Slept well. Wasn't awoken by puppies until the normal 6:00 a.m.

After my breakfast, however, I checked on the weather and it was only about 6:30 a.m. So I decided that I'd have a little more sleep. Maybe a half hour.

Darwin, the energetic lab/shepherd mix of our friends, arrived at his usual 7:30 time for his weekly visit. I decided to sleep until 8:00 when Ericka's PCA would arrive.

At 8:30, Ericka calls asking if I'm getting up today. I do, get dressed and drag myself to work.

So with good food, good sleep and even some extra sleep, why am I so dang tired today? Probably something atmospheric; we're supposed to have some storms tonight and it'll be warm and humid ahead of that.

I think the weather does have an effect--though probably different effects on different people. Sometimes I am tired in circumstances (rest, sleep, exercise, etc.) where it seems I shouldn't be, and sometimes I am energetic for no explainable reason. Weather could be it.

I saw it at a bookstore in Seattle years ago and have wanted to pick it up for ages. I was ordering some other things (including coffeeem's latest) and thought I'd look it up. Nice size for taking along camping, too.

The problem with camping is that you (and by you I mean me) always has to get up and find the privy in the morning, and once you're up, you're up.

Even not camping I have that issue. Not so much with the privy as with the puppies (who have the privy issue). Thus, my doing the routine at night as a relax and cool-down exercise.

Meds taken, no general feeling of nappiness that normally comes with the narcolepsy. Maybe I got hit by it this morning but food and activity and a bit of sunshine have helped and I'm feeling better now.
