You load 16 tons...

Well, I survived my first day at the new gig. In case you're following along at home, it's at Target again but for a different group than my last gig. These folks seem a lot more organized. When I arrived, they had a place for me to sit, a chair, a computer and stuff to do! They even had someone lined up to take me up to get my badge the first thing so I could wander in and out at lunch without having to have someone walk with me.

I spent my first day mostly doing user-acceptance testing of an enhancement to Target's main web site. Found a few niggling issues, but nothing that will likely slow up the roll-out or be too difficult to fix. I do more of the same first thing tomorrow and they have some plans for my next thing to do lined up.

Had one little bout of drowsiness about mid-day, so I took some of Our Friend Ritalin and the rest of the day went just fine. Time now to get some sleep, get up in the morning and do it all over again!
