Hooray for friends!

While I have yet to get a full report, Ericka was quite evidently taken good care of while I was gone to the Winnipeg Folk Festival. This bodes well for my trip to Seattle in September as this amount of assistance was organized over a short time and with one of her PCAs out of town at the same time.

And our friend John came through today with a temporary fix for the fried modem on the Tivo. There was some struggle in this but everything is now working and we have greater specification on what is needed for a long-term solution. So now to have a look around for some additional information about the various modems I've been offered for sale or loan to see which, if any, will work.
