So far, the main activity of the niece seems to be hanging out and chatting with Ericka or with her friends via cell phone. Sometimes both at the same time.
Yesterday, however, we went over to the Science Museum to see the Bodyworlds exhibit. A truly astonishing exhibition of human anatomy. I don't think I learned anything new, but it was very interesting to see some of the structures of the human body on display. Also was cool to see some dissections of artificial joints.
I was somewhat surprised at the number of younger kids in the exhibit. Some babes in arms but also quite a few in the "mommy, what is that?" stage. I think I would have been interested at that age but I doubt my parents would have brought me to such a thing.
This evening, we are taking in the theater; seeing The Great Gatsby at the Guthrie. I've loved wandering around the place a few times since it opened and so am looking forward to seeing what they've done with the stage areas.
