Last week we initiated mid-day (well for us third shifters) walks around the grounds here at work. We've missed a few lately due to business of work or the weather. Tonight's walk took us on the usual route 'round the complex of low buildings here on Energy Park Drive.

Largely uneventful, we did get to see a bat and to see the third shift shipping people playing 4-square. It's meant as a team-building exercise, giving us something to do other than sit, bored at our desks in the middle of the night and encouraging interaction outside the work environment.

Overall, I think it's a good idea and the brief exercise (though not at all that much of it) is probably good for us as well. It'll be interesting to see what we do when Winter comes.
