|03:14 am - Whiling away the days|
Ever since I've resigned my position at Merrill, I've found things relatively slow for me. Others around me seem to have work, but whenever I go ask for some, it seems to have all been given out. The result is that I spend a lot of time doing pretty much nothing while at work.
This suits me well enough, given the short period I have left here, but it does make the nights seem longer than they should. It's particularly bad when I don't have my tunes to help move things along.
I've been looking over the benefits information on the web site for my new job. Oh, my! Ten paid holidays per year. Twenty days of paid time off a year on top of that. Single coverage health care is paid for by the employer!
It looks like I'll have a real job again!
Current Mood: excited

I'll load it up on your computer when I get in so you can poke around at it all you like. The COBRA stuff hasn't come to me yet, but there's no rush there as I can pay for the coverage within a month or two and it's retroactive back to my last day of employment.
how about using the time to work on one of your stories, characters, or screenplays?
Or just posting posting posting.
Perhaps the Big Stone Head can offer additional advice on this topic.
Woohoo! Sounds great. Maybe you'll even be able to get to a big con or two.
