The wrong investigation

News from the BBC and CNN (and I'm sure other places) has the Justice Department starting an investigation into Bush's illegal wiretapping.

Unfortunately, they aren't investigating the wiretapping itself, their mandate is to investigate how information about it was leaked.

So if you're a member of the government and know about something illegal that's going on, you can, under this administration, look forward to having any effort to bring that illegal activity to light scrutinized by the Justice Department.

Lovely.
