10:59 pm - Pool Party on Saturday!
The Minnesota Science Fiction Society (MN-Stf, see http://www.mnstf.org) is having its annual pool party meeting this Saturday, February 19, 2005. It will be at the Bloomington Sheraton (formerly the Radisson South, near the intersection of I-494 and Hwy. 100.), somewhere around room 115 or 215 (look for the signs).
We'll have use of the pool (obviously) and hot tub. There will be munchies provided. The organizer,  minnehaha K, is spending this year's budget on food so bring something to drink (and something to drink that you want to share). Of course, if you want to bring a food item, that won't be sneered at.
Music usually breaks out later in the evening and runs late into the night. In the meantime, there is much great conversation, game playing and general merriment. Everyone is welcome and this is a great venue to get to see a bit of what the club is about. (Right, anney?) Wander by and say hi, get info on the upcoming convention, Minicon, and meet some of the fun folks that make up the club.

We only eat gitars that are slathered in cream cheese, so I think you'll be OK. |
