|02:01 am - More reading material|
Hard on the heels of my list of classic SF novels to read, I thought today that I should look up the World Fantasy Awards and add those winners who fit my "classic" definition to my reading list. So here we go:
Robert Holdstock, Mythago Wood
Barry Hughart, Bridge of Birds
John M. Ford, The Dragon Waiting
Michael Shea, Nifft the Lean
John Crowley, Little, Big
Gene Wolfe, The Shadow of the Torturer
Elizabeth A. Lynn, Watchtower
Michael Moorcock, Gloriana
Fritz Leiber, Our Lady of Darkness
William Kotzwinkle, Doctor Rat
Richard Matheson, Bid Time Return
Patricia A. McKillip, The Forgotten Beasts of Eld
Some of these I'm pretty sure I've read. I remember buying Bridge of Birds at Dreamhaven, back when it was still in Dinkytown, for example. I also think I've read The Dragon Waiting and The Forgotten Beasts of Eld. I'm going to keep them on this list of books to read, however, as it would be good to re-read them, just to be sure.

Thanks! Ericka thinks we have Little, Big in our basement somewhere, which is probably at least as convenient as getting a copy from you after your move and subsequent de-boxing.
Also, our friend Dava brought over a bunch of books from my SF list so I've got a bunch of reading to keep me occupied. But I'll keep you in mind for when I'm ready to move on!
