The effects of procrastination

It seems that someone realized that today is the start of Winter and that, typically by this time of year, we have a little of what the natives call "snow" on the ground. Outside my window, downtown Minneapolis is being inundated with big, fluffy flakes that swirl and float and have, over the last 20 minutes or so, coated roads and sidewalks with a nice frosting of white. It shows no signs of stopping and it promises to be a bear of a commute home for those folks driving. I'm taking the bus, so it may be longer than usual, but it shouldn't be nearly as stressful as driving one's self.

We see how procrastinating this delivery of seasonal precipitation has resulted in over-compensation now that the deadline has arrived.

It might be time for me to get that Wovel.
