Make-up redux

The waifish girl from yesterday's bus ride to work was on the bus again this morning despite the fact that I was running later than usual. Once again she was applying make-up. I think this rules out performance art and that she has simply adopted this as her routine.

I feel oddly like a know her a little bit now. She was wearing the same cute shoes she had on yesterday but had traded pinstriped pants for polka-dotted dress. If she's on the bus tomorrow I shall have to ask about this habit of applying make-up on the bus.

Weeds on speed

These being a character in a recent dream.

They look a bit like sunflowers, having large leaves and largish yellow flowers in abundance. They move in packs across the ground, their roots twitching and slithering as they are propelled at an astonishing pace. They are strong as well, capable of breaking the glass of car windows and denting its sheet metal.

I don't know what garnered their ire in my dream but they seemed more nuisance than danger at the time. That may be because I saw the pack of them coming from across a largish parking lot and was able to get into my car and escape in plenty of time. In close proximity I suspect they are more terrifying.
