The irony
You would think that a guy with narcolepsy would be able to fall asleep when he actually wanted to.
Instead, I've been awake all morning despite my best efforts at sleep induction. I followed my normal morning routine. I ate a banana. I had my "Relaxing" mix of music playing.
No dice. No sleep for the wicked. I even tried video game therapy and supplementary carbohydrate loading. Next, I shall resort to the watching of schlocky SF movie.
If things go along their most inconvenient line, I'll fall asleep about 5:30 p.m. only to be awoken for periods of feeding the dog and making dinner for Ericka before waking for good at 9:00 p.m. in order to get ready for work.
Sigh.
