Workless

So I showed up to work and they let me know there was none to be done. Silly second shifters finished it all. They never do that.

So I've been putzing with the screenplay a bit so far this evening. I've gotten a bit bogged down. The good news is that, unlike most of my fiction, I actually have a plan for where this one is supposed to go. So, given any lack of motivation by my primary characters, I have a direction to drag them

Ah-ha

Thanks to the Cyber Film School, I've identified why it is I've bogged down in the screenplay a bit. This article talks about how writing a screenplay is much more "bare bones" than writing other sorts of fiction. With this in mind, I see that much of the "outlining" that I've been doing is, in fact, moving the screenplay forward. I maybe need a few more snapshots to fill out my vision, but I don't need a lot more description. The details come in production, not in writing the screenplay.

Funky. Cool.
