When it came time to go to work, I just couldn't muster the energy. I rationalized a bit, saying that the forecast called for thunderstorms and, since my dog very much dislikes the thunder, that it would be difficult for Ericka to deal with her while I was at work. So I called in and spent most of the night napping on the couch.
Woke up fairly refreshed at about 4:30 this morning. Got a few household chores done. (One of Ericka's helpers is being inexplicably passive-aggressive with me. For example, the visiting dogs today were discovered to have fleas. So the helper thought it prudent to remove the bedding from my bed to prevent an infestation. Me, I wasn't worried about it, but since the sheets needed changing anyway I figured I'd get to it on the weekend. I return from dropping off Rachael to find the bed stripped, but no new sheets put on it. Sigh. I'll have to have a talk with her and suss out the issues. The upshot is that there's more for me to do around the house. I don't mind so much but when things change I like to get a memo or something.)
This morning, we take Ericka off to the lymph/edema clinic at the U. Then back home, breakfast and sleep for me. Ericka's helper will be picking up Ericka later and hopefully we will have learned something about what the heck is up Ericka's sore breast.
