Just some things I was thinking...

Dogs found a groundhog under the deck this morning. Gave them 4 hrs of fun & exercise as they tried to dig it out. So much for recent baths!

I presume the groundhog stayed in the ground and thumbed its furry little nose at the dogs?

Hope you and yours had a peaceful and good Memorial Day weekend.

It did indeed. The best efforts of the dogs to dig under the deck were fruitless. And groundhogless.

Memorial Day weekend was reasonably good, apart from the whole refrigerator dying thing. But, at least today when I get home from work, I'll have a new fridge!

Oh dear; fridge death sucks. I'd missed word of that before, but I'm glad you'll have a new fridge today.

It does at that. New fridge is looking like it will be spiffy: http://bit.ly/WgFus

The nice thing is having employment that looks to be relatively steady so that I'll be able to afford said new fridge.

(sorry, it's just a reference to a movie I like)

I think the advent of global warming around here is leading to a huge population growth of smallish furry critters. I've never seen so many bunnies. And, on the subject of groundhogs, we've got 'em too. Our dog managed to kill two of them a couple years ago, but they've still got tunnels in ours and our neighbors' back hillsides. I think they got the message about invading our gardens, however...
