One of the goals of planting my prairie garden was to attract butterflies. Before today we'd had a few cabbage moths, which were cool enough, but this morning, I hit the jackpot:

Is that the actual specimen or just an internet facsimile?

That's the actual beastie, captured with my digital camera. I cropped the photo in iPhoto and adjusted the levels with GraphicConverter to more closely match the actual specimen.
