Should I nominate you on Saturday?

(Well, you didn't really think I'd pass up a straight line like that, did you?)

What's the DVD? Fess up. It can't be worse than Mystery Men.

Hey, I liked Mystery Men.

This is two DVDs. (Me with the 5 DVD changer for those extra-special movie fests.) The first is the lamentable, predictable (down to the, "Oh, this is where she'll be surprised by her boyfriend to shock us into thinking it's the killer" moments) and, in the end, dull Freddy vs. Jason. I'm so ashamed.

The second is the worst excuse for a film based on a video game I've ever seen. (And yes, I've seen more than one.) Complete with intercuts of game graphics that are gorier than the special effects. This is the pointless House of the Dead. I can no longer show my face in public.

Freddy vs. Jason

Go easy on yourself. Was it fun?

And the first worst movie based on a video game? Tron?

Sadly, no. That's the worst part. It wasn't even gore-riffic. It had few redeeming qualities.

And the first worst movie based on a video game? Tron?

No, no. That was a video game based on a movie.

I've also seen Resident Evil and some of the martial-arts video game movies. (Not to mention the Mario Bros. movie.) So far I can't say I recommend "based on a video game" as a method of choosing a night's entertainment.

What do they want to do in our state?

I have to admit I pay much more attention to what they want to do in our country than what they want to do in our state.

Sorry for the delay in repying to this. My comment was in response to Amnesty International's informing me that our Governor would like to return the death penalty to Minnesota.
