02:39 am - Happy November to me!
In my Amazon Gold Box today: A Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless 3-1/2-Quart Saute Pan; list price: $100, my price: $16.99!! Add a silicon baking mat to kick myself over $25 for free shipping and I'll have a kick-ass addition to the kitchen by mid-November!

Surprisingly busy at work. Or at least having stuff to do. I'm somewhat disappointed as I figured I'd be able to get a start on my NaNoNovel tonight. But, good to be paid for the full eight hours.

Got the news last week that the State of Minnesota had heard from the IRS regarding my earlier audit. So now I owe the state money too, to the tune of $900 by the middle of December. I was stressing about this over the last couple of weeks (probably contributed to my illness earlier this week), but having been paid today I finally got caught up on all the bills. Having paid off everything (including the balance on one credit card, and a sizable chunk over the minimum on another) I still have money in my account! Less than $100, but it's still money! Plus, as one of Ericka's official PCAs, I get paid by that company as well. So applying that money to the tax debt should get that paid off in plenty of time. Looks like that refinancing is working out after all. And in going through the bills today I found a letter from my student loan people; they've forgiven the last little bit of my student loan debt! So there's $100 or so a month I won't have to pay (even if it was only for another six months or so).

So November has started off really well and I'm looking forward to the rest of the month!

I'm not really sure. Just got a letter in the mail from them. It probably had to do with the many years I'd been paying them and the big chunk I'd just given them from the house refinancing.

I've had a silpat for a couple of years and I just love it. And it's true, nothing sticks to it.

I've got to pay more attention to that gold box.
